Jacksonville Transplant Alliance
Please be sure to enter "Jacksonville Transplant Alliance" into the memo field on ClearGIVE.
The Jacksonville Transplant Alliance is a community of individuals and transplant-related organizations in the Northeast Florida area who are dedicated to providing donor education through social media, community events, and educational forums. Our goal is to increase the number of registered donors and to help recipients, their families, donor family members, and others within our community become greater ambassadors of organ and tissue donation so that together, we may save lives and shorten the waiting time for those awaiting transplant.
April is National Donate Life Month. By registering to become an organ, eye and tissue donor, you could help more than 75 people — and that’s not counting the lives that those 75 people touch. 95% of Americans are in favor of being an organ donor, but only 60% are registered. Here are things you can do to help bridge that gap.
It's National Donate Life Month! Learn more about it and get downloadable images to promote organ, tissue, and eye donation on social media on our News and Events page.
If you would like to support the JTA and its on-going efforts to educate the public about organ, eye, and tissue donation, and to support our area transplant patients, we welcome your contribution.
To make donations easy and tax-deductible, the JTA has partnered with the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida and ClearGIVE.
If you would like a member of JTA to speak to your church, school, social group, organization, or business about organ and tissue donation, or if you have a health fair you'd like JTA to attend, please contact us.
